Account & Data Deletion

Al Ansari ESS (Employee Self-Service Application)
Last updated: 13 June 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your Al Ansari ESS account and the personal data associated with it, in accordance with Google Play's data deletion requirements.

Al Ansari ESS is an Employee Self-Service client for ERPNext / Frappe HR. Your account is the account on your organisation's ERPNext workspace (the server URL you sign in to), which is managed by your employer's HR / IT department — not created or closed within the App. The steps below let you remove the App's local data and request deletion of your server-side data.

1. Delete Data Stored on Your Device (immediate)

You can remove all locally stored app data yourself at any time:

  1. Open the App and tap Log out — this clears your session, authentication token and cached personal data from the device.
  2. For a complete wipe, uninstall the App. On Android you can also go to Settings → Apps → Al Ansari ESS → Storage → Clear data.

2. Request Deletion of Your Server-Side Data

Your HR data is held in your organisation's ERPNext workspace, which is operated by your employer (the data controller). Deletion requests for that data should be sent to the organisation that operates your workspace — your employer's HR / IT department.

If your workspace is operated by Al Ansari Trading Enterprise LLC, request deletion as follows:

  1. Email contactus@alansariglobal.com from your registered work email address, with the subject "ESS Account Deletion Request".
  2. Include your full name and employee ID so your identity can be verified.
  3. The request will be acknowledged within 7 business days and verified deletions completed within 30 days, subject to the retention exceptions below.

3. What Gets Deleted

DataDeleted on request?
App login session & authentication token (on device)Yes — immediately on logout/uninstall
Cached profile, attendance and notification data on deviceYes — on logout/uninstall
Uploaded expense receipt attachmentsYes, where not required for an open/approved claim

4. Data That May Be Retained

The organisation that operates your workspace, as your employer, may be legally required to keep certain employment records even after an account is deleted. The following data may be retained for the period required by applicable labour, tax and payroll law:

Such data is retained only as long as legally required and is then securely deleted.
